First of all, I need to apologize. I have not been blogging or updating all the pictures from this summer. I feel like summer is almost over, but I have no idea where it went. At the end of June I got really sick, so sick that I don't even remember my 4th of July weekend. To make a very long story short, 3 hospitals, 6 doctors, and a procedure later I passed a gallstone. I have never been in so much pain in my life, but thankfully it is gone, and I don't ever want it back again. My husband was so good to me, sleeping on terrible hospital couches, never complaining once. He waited on me hand and foot, brought me the most beautiful flowers, and listened to my complaints with a smile on his face. I am so lucky. My family and friends took great care of me, and thankfully we can all put this behind us.
My summer has not been all bad. In fact, I have been blessed by some amazing things this summer. I have been busy shooting, which I am so thankful for. Senior portraits have kept me crazy busy, which I LOVE. I also have gotten to share in some amazing moments and been blessed to be apart of some beautiful weddings this summer. My first one was my future sister-in-law's sister. I was blessed to go to capture Brittani and Keith's very special day. I got a small glimpse of what my brothers big day will be like, very emotional to say the least. I cannot wait. I was also so blessed to be apart of two girls very special days. One of my closest college friends Ashley ( I love everything about this girl) two younger sisters got married a month apart and I was privileged to be their photographer. Whitney and Betsy are twins, so I thought that they would have similar weddings, so not true. Each wedding showed off their personal style and personality. They were each perfect, they fit the girls to a T. But the best part for me was double the McCulloch (Meadows/Sewell/Osborn) family time! I am in love with this family, I shared so many laughs over these two days, and I feel like next month I am going to go through withdrawals from them. Come on Taylor, I need another wedding haha.
So all this to say, I am sorry for my lack of posting, but look out there is lots to come. I have another beautiful wedding a few weeks, lots more senior portraits, and family shoots so please check back to see TONS of pictures! My husband (my hero) has been second shooting with me this summer, yes, my Steve (tennis Steve). He is supporting my dream in ways that I never could imagine. To pick up a camera, learn to shoot, stand in 100 degrees for 12 hours at a time, all for me. Lucky and blessed do not even begin to explain my relationship. We have been dreaming, thinking, writing, and pondering for months and there are big things in the future! Thank you all so much for the support, patience, love and prayers. God has big plans for us, this business, and our lives, we are just hanging on for a crazy ride! Happy Summer!
