Love Notes...
These are a few of our recent "love notes" from some of our brides. We have the best clients in the world. Seriously. I am so proud of what we do, and so in love with the people we meet.
I looked at tons of websites, called many photographers and e-mailed so many people for quotes and information on wedding photography. I never realized how outrageous people could be when it comes to wedding photography!! Then somebody told me to contact Marie Hughes. I had met Marie before and I knew that she was such a sweet person and I remembered she had started a photography business. I was completely blown away by how great she was!! From the initial meeting I knew she was going to be amazing, and she was!! We got a fantastic package deal with her and her husband! The thing that I love the most about Marie is that she absolutely loves what she does. She understands what a bride wants in a wedding photographer! On the day of, she was more like a best friend hanging out all the while taking amazing pictures, she is very relaxed and professional all at the same time. She captures all of the most precious moments in the most artistic and special way. Marie helped to capture my wedding and turn it into a fairytale story and I have seen her do this over and over. I would recommend her to everyone for any occasion!

I married the love of my life on June 25, 2011 and had the pleasure of working with Marie Hughes and her husband, Steve. When I began my wedding planning, my husband-to-be, Josh, said one of the things he wanted input on was who would be photographing our wedding. You see, Marie had photographed one of our friends wedding in which Josh had been a groomsmen. Josh spoke very highly of Marie. After browsing her website and viewing her pictures, I knew she was the one I wanted to photograph my wedding. Before the wedding, Marie met with me in a central location for both of us. She also answered my many questions through facebook messages and phone calls. I was very pleased by her professionalism and flexibility. She was willing to get whatever shots I wanted to complete my wedding day. I believe that the Sarah Marie Photo team added another element to my wedding that others in Tuscaloosa are still talking about. They brought along their "photo booth." Many of the guests at my wedding have said how much they enjoyed this feature. Marie said from the beginning that she wanted my day to be about me, and that is exactly what she delivered. She was on time, prepared, and ready. If you choose to use Sarah Marie Photos for your photography needs, you will not be sorry. I also cannot get over the way in which my bridal party praised her for her work. She knew what shots she wanted and this cut down on the duration of the photos. I've had the pleasure of knowing Marie for many years. Being able to see her dream of being a photographer unfold over the years has been amazing. Marie has the perfect eye for the style of photos that I love. She has a way of making me feel comfortable and beautiful every time I'm in front of the camera. Marie has taken all of my wedding photos and each one is absolutely stunning. She's very organized and is able to capture such awesome images in a flash. The best thing about Marie is that she can be whatever you need her to be on your wedding day. On my wedding day, she was not only my photographer, but a coordinator, a maid of honor, a calming spirit and most importantly a friend. She helped take care of any "snags" that day along with capturing my special day with images that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks Marie!

Josh and Laura's forever...
I LOVE LOVE these photos. Probably because Josh and Laura made my job so easy. It is always so nice to have a couple who is not afraid of being silly and is willing to do just about whatever I ask them. I kept telling them they needed to give lessons :) The day was filled with so many smiles and so much fun. These two love each other so much and I think it is easy to see in the photos. We had a great time with Josh, Laura, their wedding party and family. Thank you so much for letting us be apart of this amazing day, we hope you love them!!! :)
